Next, consider that a compact microwave of this size is typically used for reheating a dinner plate, cooking a potato, heating soup, hot-water for tea, and warming up a brownie, cake, or other snack. THE GOOD: Interior light comes on as soon as you open the door. 'Instant on' via +30 second button for quick reheating. Three custom memory programs for your most common tasks. Nice full-height door handle (no button) for opening it. Compact, attractive design, turntable, 800 watts of power. The turntable works well, and is hard to find on such a small microwave. 800 Watts rather than the typical 700 Watts is nice for such a small unit - plenty of power. I also like that it does not have a push-button door opener - I've never found those to be easy to use. This unit does an excellent job, in a small space, and at a good price. |
